GOD'S WORD
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God; the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
TRINITY
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, death by crucifixion, burial, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father and personal future return in power and glory. John 8:36 - So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
SALVATION
We believe that all of humanity is sinful and salvation is only by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the present and powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling Christians are enabled to live a godly life in total freedom, empowered to do the work of ministry.
THE RESURRECTION
We believe in the resurrection of the dead- believers to life everlasting and unbelievers to final judgment.
THE CHURCH
We believe in the Church as the Body of Christ, for which He will return, comprised of all who have accepted the redemption provided in Him.
ADDITIONAL CORE BELIEFS:
WE BELIEVE IN UNITY
"There is one body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one God and Father of us all..."
Ephesians 4:4-6
WE BELIEVE IN LIBERTY
"Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters...Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall...So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God...So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God."
Romans 14: 1, 4, 12, 22
WE BELIEVE IN CHARITY
"if I have faith which can move mountains, but have no love, I amount to nothing at all."
I Corinthians 13:2
WE BELIEVE IN SERVING OTHERS & ENCOURAGEMENT
"So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." - Philippians 2:1–4
